At Cool Off, we care for your pets and the environment

Sustainability and ethical practice has always been at the forefront of what we do at Cool Off. Our primary purpose, over 40 years ago, was to make sure all parts of an animal were used, leaving minimal waste in the meat processing industry. This has lead to us bringing sustainable, ethical and environmentally friendly practices into the pet food manufacturing process through the use of technology, product offerings and continuous improvement. We encourage everyone we work with to strive for sustainable, evolving processes that benefit our pets and our environment.

ENVIRONMENT

At Cool Off, we take our impact on the environment seriously. One of the ways we do this, is to reuse the water from our production facilities. This water is directed to our farm pastures for irrigation where crops grow and livestock grazes. Testing of this water is undertaken as part of our environment licence.

You can read our Pollution Incident Response Management Plan (PIRMP) by following this link.  This statement is in accordance with the requirements of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 to prepare, keep, test and implement a pollution incident response management Plan.
